Fender Radius
1. This shot shows a stock wheel well opening. Notice how the edge of the opening seems to flow against the tire wheel combination.
2. We start by taping off the wheel house with our desired changes. When we have decided we are pleased we then bend stainless 3/8 rod to fit the tape line.
3. The stainless rod is clamped in place and is shaped to the point of a matching fit to our tape line.
4. The stainless rods are bent and ready to be welded in place for support.
5. We cut the fender out and installed the stainless reinforcement. We then tack welded it in place and you start to get a look at what she will become...
6. As seen the newly restructured wheel house allows the tire to breathe and is more natural looking.
7. On the front fender we have added a few extention sections to tighten up the wheel house a bit.
8. Before welding we make a template that duplicates the stainless reinforcement and place it on the fender for cutting and or welding it in place.
9. As seen the stock front fender opening on the right is a bit large for a symmetrical look. The left shows a tighter opening which is more natural looking.

10. She is coming along nicely.
