Finned Plenium Lid

1. We will be taking a finned aluminum air cleaner and cutting it down to fit a fuel injection plenum box for cosmetic purposes. We have measured the box and cut the section out on our bandsaw. |

2. During our initial fit we have made note and determined where final trimming is needed. |

3. Eric is taping the fins off as a safety measure during grinding and fitting. |

4. As seen Eric is heating the aluminum fin using a soft flame attachment while applying pressure with a C-clamp to remove a slight Bow along the bottom surface to perfect the fit to the plenum. |

5. A bit of hand sanding using 80 grit paper with a block will finish it off to completion. |

6. She fits nicely and we can now start the prep of the motor to paint. |
