1-Getting ready to start. Taking measurements.
2-Removal of the rear roll pan
3-Original trunk pan cut out inside of its spot welds.
4-Donor trunk pan arrives (notice it was cut out outside of its spotwelds).
5-Removal of excess material from donor pan. It was required to cut out the factory spot welds on the donor pan also.
6-Other pieces cut from the donor pan assembly.
  • 7-Scrap pieces
  • 8-Donor pan all cleaned up and ready to install. It was blasted and primed.
  • 9-NOS Roll pan blasted and primed also ready to install.
  • 10-Pan is replaced on original spot welds and excess holes filled.
  • 11-Other side.
  • 12-More cleanup required.
  • 13-Rollpan mates with pan liner good now.
  • 14-A few welds to touch up inside.
  • 15-Geometry set correctly. Just about done with this part.
  • 16-Yep the trunk lid fits well, just like new.
  • 17-This is a photo of the underneath of the car after several other projects have been completed. Such as transmission tunnel repaired, 1 floor pan replaced. Nice and clean eh?
