36 Ford Truck - Running Boards

As mentioned in the beginning the running boards take most of the wear and tear on a truck. Finding NOS ones is about near impossible so we have to rebuild them. |

The swail or concave shape from one side to another is some what different so we have some old fashioned straitening to do. |

A little bit of porta powering to massage them in to shape was needed. |

The mounting brackets were welded on crooked from the factory which hurt the fit so we drilled the spot welds and are repositioning. |

Once we got the edge dead on straight we added a rod to the inside edge to stiffen it up a bit. |

Clamped in place she will work out fine. Once we media blast all the rust away we will weld these in place. |

Look at the key hole grooves, a rock or something hit them and mangled them over. |
