Body Block
| 1. The body is now in hi-build and as seen the lines are coming together crisp and straight. | |
| 2.. With all the inside lines and concave/convex shapes on this car it makes for a real challenge. | |
| 3. As mentioned the arrow shapes with inside and out side lines including the convex - concave shapes makes it a challenge to bring to perfection but Nat will knock it out. | |
| 4. The wheel houses were modified for Max clearance so the lip was removed and a 3/8 wire was formed and welded in to place. | |
| 5. The custom auto lift hood hinges await body work and smoothing. | |
| 6. Welding was performed and as seen the top of the inner aprons next to the fender edge were fully stitched and are ready to grind. | |
| 7. Straight edge shows no warping and ready for body work smoothing. | |
| 8. Even the inside door jambs are smoothed down, so when opened a straight panel flowing with wet looking paint will be evident. | |
| 9. The door striker side is also done and ready for primer. | |
| 10. The entire perimeter of the hood is welded on the overlapping seam for strength as well as looks when the hood is opened. Nothing but straight smooth panels. | |
| 11. All welded and ready for some grinding to smooth out. Notice the center brace that was added for more rigidity. | |
| 12. All unwanted factory holes were welded up to beautify. | |
| 13. Inserts will be covered in upholstery but all the braces will be body color so they have to be smoothed. | |
| 14. Body worked and ready for hi-build primer. | |
| 15. Primed and now it will sit and cure before final blocking and paint. |
