Suspension Detail
| Once the car was initially built the cosmetic phase needed to be started. With this particular project we chose a satin aluminum looking finish done with our cad plating system. | |
| The first step is to glass bead all the parts after removing any imperfections with a conditioning disc using a 10KĀ rpm grinder. | |
| Initially plated they have a frosted look before we smooth them over using 000 Steel wool. | |
| Nylon bushings were modified to properly space the bar and mounting bracket of our Nascar sway bar system. | |
| As seen just the right amount of space to keep every thing centered. | |
| Once completed the unit is ready for installation. | |
| Same as the fasteners, cad plated control arm shafts are ready to install. This is the look we achieve on all the bolts, nuts and parts related to the engine, trans, chassis etc. | |
| Our in house built tubular control arms were sanded and prepped for painting and await their new bushings. | |
| Nylon lock nuts are used along with red lock tight for guaranteed performance. | |
| Bushings are frozen to shrink the metal for easiest installation. | |
| Pressed on and we are ready to mask them off and paint gloss black. |
