Spoiler

Torino convertibles have a concave shape in the top section of the qter panel as seen. We installed a fastback trunk lid. As seen the original die cast extension is very different then the shape of the spoiler. We will cut and join the fastback and convertible extensions then join them in the precise area to make it work.
We have marked the fastback spoiler extension on the left and the convertible extension on the car where they will be sliced.
We did a mock up on the passenger side. As seen the lines will flow smoothly in and out of the factory spoiler / trunk lid.
We have it sliced and are starting to fit and weld using special pot metal welding rod to join them together.
It is coming around and looking good. Time to finish the weld and grind it smooth.
The built in spoiler Ford made was an excellent design but they never offered it on a Convertible like our project.
